Boys Will Be Boys is my attempt at making sense of society’s tendency to blame the victims of sexual assault and rape and make excuses for the perpetrators. It was also my way of dealing with certain events that were occurring in my life at the time.
Hitting venues in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, the tour will also include a number of U18’s shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Singer-songwriter Alice Skye will join Stella along the east coast and in Adelaide. Skye is a Wergaia woman originally from country Victoria, she grew up aside the sandstone mountains and wildflowers of the Grampians. Still inspired by her roots, Alice now calls Melbourne home.

Stella Donnelly is an australian singer-songwriter who has just released her first EP called “Thrush Metal” on Secretly Canadian. We’ve met her in the empty philharmonic in Cologne, Germany, at C/O Pop Festival, to record her song “Mean To Me”.
This a video of Stella Donnelly singing “Time After Time” on the ABC Australia’s New Year’s Eve special.
Stella Donnelly is the latest talent to emerge from Australia – in her case, way out west in Perth, where she’s honed the sharp voice that’s recently gone viral with the powerful “Mechanical Bull,” a retort to male harassers.
